What we save

When you ask a question, this site stores the question, answer, time, IP address, a random browser identifier and the version of the sharing notice shown with the question form. These records support answers, remembered questions, abuse prevention, usage limits, Facebook sharing and administration. We keep question records for up to 90 days. The owner can see them. Don’t enter passwords, financial account numbers, contact details, or other private information.

Remembering this browser

Questions are remembered automatically as part of the service. A cookie containing a random identifier links this browser to its saved questions on our server. The cookie can last up to 90 days and is renewed when you use the site. Recent questions submitted under the public-sharing notice can help personalize later answers. Different browsers at the same IP have separate histories. People sharing one browser may share its history. We do not read shopping history, browsing history, other websites’ cookies, or browser caches.

“Forget my history” in the footer deletes the question records linked to this browser, cancels queued posts and creates a fresh identifier. New questions start a new history. Clearing or blocking the browser cookie also breaks the link to that history but does not itself delete server records. Security and aggregate usage records are separate. Server access logs and backups have separate retention managed by the site operator.

How answers are made

Questions and a limited recent history are sent to OpenAI to generate replies. We do not include your IP address or browser identifier in that request. Provider retention and processing are governed by its applicable terms and privacy practices.

Facebook sharing is part of asking

The question form explains that your question, answer and generated image may be posted publicly on our Facebook Page. Submitting a new question under that notice automatically sends a completed exchange to our publication review queue; there is no separate sharing checkbox. Eligible exchanges are posted automatically when the Page connection and publishing are enabled. Filtering, service availability and posting intervals mean not every submission will be published or appear immediately.

Posts contain the question, answer and branded image, not your IP address or browser identifier. We review for personal information and extreme content before publication. Don’t put private information in a question: a filter cannot guarantee it will catch everything. Public posts can be copied and redistributed by others and are subject to Facebook’s own terms and privacy practices.

Earlier questions submitted as private stay private. They are not newly queued for publication or used as context for answers in the new public-sharing flow. Answers generated using history from the earlier private flow also remain excluded from publication.

Forgetting your history flags any already published posts for owner removal. It cannot instantly remove Facebook posts or copies made by other people. Use the privacy contact below to request removal.

Google Analytics is your choice

Google Analytics is off until you switch it on in the footer. If enabled and configured, it measures visits, device and engagement information and events such as asking or sharing. We do not send your question or answer text in analytics events. Switch analytics off in the footer to stop Google Analytics on this browser. This does not stop essential question records or server security logging.

Phone motion

Phone shaking is optional. Motion readings are used only on your device to trigger the animation. They are not saved or sent to this server. Your browser may ask for motion permission.

Your choices

You can clear your history, turn analytics off, or contact the operator for access, correction, deletion and public-post removal requests. Applicable rights depend on your location. We do not sell your questions or use them for targeted advertising.
